So happy to see my DOR secretary, Keisha today, we had not been in touch since Hurricane Katrina. She told me she was back in school and had recently talked about me in a paper. She reminded of something that I said to her that continues to impact her life today, “I’m here to empower you, nobody can  work for me unless they own their ‘own’!”

Well my memory fades me, but that does sound like something that I would have said! One of the first things she did after Katrina was to buy a home, she continues to be an investor, and now in overachiever! I just dropped a tear.
