ROCKIN’ OUT FOR PUBERTY 2017:
We are super excited about our annual Rockin’ Out for Puberty 2017!!! This year is going to be EPIC as we have a powerhouse lineup of professionals that are ready to share empowering and uplifting information with our youth!! One of the topics we are focusing on this year is No High School Drop Outs!! Who better to speak to our kids than Raymond “Bamzy” Manson and the BamzyBaby Productions including the five multicultural characters created to empower youth to realize their full potential while discovering their purpose.
Kecia TheEmpire Johnson – is an HIV/AIDS Educator. She has spent the last decade informing women (and men) of the importance of safe sex and living healthier lives. She will be focusing on the topic of Making Safe Choices. This is one session that we can all stand to hear even as adults!!
Dr. Danette O’Neal – is the author of Money Matters 101, KidPrenuer 101, and Importance del Dinero 101. She specializes in financial fitness course development, entrepreneurial training, and consulting for organization leadership and sustainability. Our kids will have a mindset of entreprenuership once they leave this workshop- Financial Literacy/Kid Entreprenuership
Erica Mills, PhD, RN-BC is a board certified nursing development specialist who is a role model and known for her trendsetting education to Morehouse residents about interprofessional collaborations. She will be educating our kids about obesity and making healthy food choices.
To culminate all of these powerhouse speakers will be Ms. Uneeka Jay- founder of Rewrite 365, a performance consulting firm that works with clients to achieve and sustain breakthrough results. Ms. Jay is a highly sought-after keynote and workshop leader. Not only are her talks inspirational and motivational but they are transformational, powerfully, practical, and refreshingly relevant.
